Little Tikes 2-in-1 Snug ‘n Secure Swing Review
It can be difficult to find a swing that’s safe enough to be suitable for babies without them growing out of it very fast, but Little Tikes have brought us one with their 2-in-1 Swing. You can use it outside or in and it’s perfect for babies from 9 months. You can then adapt it for toddlers right up to age 4.

Little Tikes Swing Review
This Little Tikes swing is great for either indoor or outdoor playtime. Babies will love it and it’s recommended for age 9 months upwards.
When the child is a little older you can convert it from a “snug and secure” baby swing to an open swing for toddlers. For the little ones there’s a T-bar that goes between their legs as well as shoulder straps to hold them safely in the swing seat.
Even with all the safety features, it’s quick and easy to put a baby into it. Do the T-bar first and that will hold the baby safely while you fasten the shoulder straps.
Fitting and Materials
Most people will probably use this Little Tikes swing outside. If you want to use it inside, you’d need a large space. However you can unhook it each time you finish using it so a doorway might work.
It comes with S-shaped hooks that you can attach to something like eye bolts fixed to a tree or overhead beam. If you have a swing set frame already, you can attach it to that.
The seat is made of strong plastic and looks like it will last well. The ropes are durable synthetic material. If you have it a long time it would be a good idea to check it for fraying from time to time, especially if it’s left outside in all weathers. But it should last your baby well and probably any more babies who follow along later in the family too.
What You Need To Know
Bolts are not included, you just get the hooks. You’ll easily find the right kind of bolt in a DIY superstore. You might just want to get them before the swing arrives unless you have something that it can easily be hooked onto.
Although it does convert from baby-safe with all the straps to older toddler use without the safety features, it takes a few minutes to do this and you probably wouldn’t want to be constantly changing it so that two children of different ages can use it. It might be better to get a toddler swing for the older child. The ‘2-in-1’ conversion is more intended for when a baby gets too big for the T-bar and straps.
Little Tikes 2-in-1 Swing: The Verdict
This isn’t the cheapest baby swing available in the UK at the moment (which is why we’re giving it 4.5 stars instead of 5) but it’s had rave reviews and it’s clearly a safe and popular choice.
Babies love to swing – it’s fun and it soothes them too. This would be an excellent buy for a baby around 9 months or more.
