Lego Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown Reviews
If your child is a Lego fan and enjoys the X-Men movies or cartoons, he or she will be sure to have a lot of fun with this Lego set. Even for kids who like Lego sets but don’t know the X-Men or Wolverine, this will be a fun option because there’s so much in it.
The story behind this Lego set is that two of the villains from the X-Men, Deadpool and Magneto, are using Deadpool’s helicopter to chase Wolverine. They have a ton of missiles while Wolverine only has his Chopper motorbike. Your mission (after building the set) is to help Wolverine escape before Magneto traps him with magnetic power.
Lego has a very high reputation for the quality of its sets and this one, set number 6866, is no exception. There are a lot of detailed pieces that need to be put together, helping to develop children’s critical thinking and fine motor skills.
The building of the Lego Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown set is exciting for kids as they see the different pieces turn into fun toys. It’s also very collectible – some buyers have said that they got the Wolverine Chopper Lego set just for the Deadpool figure!
Of course, children’s creative imagination is also used in playing with the constructed toys. One thing to note here is that parts can fall off the vehicles when they are played with, especially from the helicopter. If this is an issue because your child likes to play with the built set often and has trouble putting it back together, you may want to glue the pieces. This would be more likely for younger kids in the age range (say age 6 or 7) who may also need some help building the vehicles the first time around.
If your child is a fan of the X-Men they will love having chases and battles between Wolverine and the bad guys. If not … they’ll still love having chases and battles between Wolverine and the bad guys! Overall, Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown is a great Lego set.
